Curb Your Worries & Anxieties

“There is nothing positive about being a worry wart.”

Do you worry too much?

Some worrying is good. It warns us of error and helps with decision-making. But if you find yourself worrying all the time, you are robbing yourself of precious energy and happy hours.

When you worry, your body tenses, your mind races and your heart stresses. Focusing on negative future outcomes or past failures is an unhealthy way to spend your time.

Resolve to regain this lost energy. Focus on today and handle things as they occur. Know that what’s happened in the past is water under the bridge. Remember that what may happen in the future is, for the most part, out of your control. Live, happily, in the “here and now.” It’s the only way to thrive!

What are you avoiding?

Let this be the day you decide to stop procrastinating, hesitating,
stressing, blaming, avoiding or focusing on non-productive
activity. Procrastination is birthed from
fear. Procrastination is a thief. Fear is a faith killer. Fear robs you of your peace of mind.
Fear blocks your blessings.

If you have developed a pattern of avoiding tasks and decisions that need to be
accomplished, you are a procrastinator.

Procrastination has painful and costly consequences. It interferes with
your professional, personal, financial and academic success.

What has the thief of procrastination stolen from you?

Conquer the little things,
so the little things don't become big things. If you
can't handle and manage the small things in life,
you're not ready to master the
big things.. Change before you have to change.
Don't wait until you hurt enough that
you are forced to change.
Learn enough so that you want to change your habits. Be motivated
enough by what you read so you begin to change.

Build a future

The more you take action, the more good things you’ll have coming your way. You’ll come across more and better opportunities, learn more things, and become more skilled at getting the results you want.
Yes, you’re going to make mistakes, and you’ll regularly need to adjust your approach. But that’s no reason to avoid action.
In fact, that’s a good reason to get started as soon as possible. If you’re going to make mistakes, it’s better to get out there, get the mistakes over with, and learn from them.
Don’t sit around wondering and worrying about what might happen. Use your own actions and your own energy to determine what will happen.

Don’t sit around building a list of complaints and regrets. Instead, take real, focused action and build a positive, fulfilling future for yourself.

Figure out what you want to create, where you want to go, what you want to experience, and who you want to become. Then get yourself in action and keep moving in the direction you’ve chosen.
