The Generous Mr. Lovewell

The Generous Mr. Lovewell is the seventh major label, full-length studio album from MercyMe, which was released through INO Records. The album was released May 4th, but was released digitally on March 20th for pre-ordering. The first radio single released in support of the album is "All of Creation". The single spent 9 weeks at #1 on the Billboard Christian Songs chart, earning MercyMe their tenth #1 hit on the chart. The album debuted at #3 on the Billboard 200 with over 88,000 copies sold in the first week released.

In an interview, lead singer Bart Millard explains the meaning of the title and what it relates to.

“	The album, 'The Generous Mr. Lovewell', revolves around a fictional character we created who reminds us that we simply need to love others well. He is like a combination of Buddy the Elf and Forest Gump,
